It's a cliché but no two charity content projects are the same. I work on a fixed fee basis, where I provide a quote for your specific needs. But I also understand that you may want an idea of costs upfront, especially if you're at an early stage in your project.

Copywriting and editing from a content specialist with extensive experience working with sensitive and complex topics.

Cost: from £300*

*Copywriting and editing package prices vary depending on your content requirements and volume. I will give you a fixed project fee based on your brief and will outline exactly what this cost includes so you can be confident there’ll be no unexpected extra charges.

Ideal for: charities who have a specific content project in mind – whether that’s website content, report writing and editing or email copy

What's included:

  • scoping call to understand the topic, audience and any existing guidance or tone of voice

  • research review, working from existing materials, analytics, reports or interviews with stakeholders

  • agreed content deliverables – from a single page or brand-new website sections  

  • one round of full revisions, with a second round of minor tweaks.

Hands-on content support

 

Get trusted content support without the commitment of a permanent in-house hire.

Cost: from £1,650*

*Retainer packages are tailored to suit your needs. I work with some clients for short periods of focused support (for example to cover parental leave or periods of recruitment) and others on a longer-term basis, offering support each month. I have a minimum booking of 5 days for retained days – but you can choose how and when you use them. 

Ideal for: charities who have a content skills gap whether due to recruitment, budgets or busy periods

What's included:

  • agreed number of retained days either per month or over a fixed period, depending on your needs

  • allocate the content tasks you need help with: copywriting, CMS upload, SEO, editing, content reviews

  • 20+ years of content experience – which means you'll likely find your booked time stretches further than you expect!

  • regular updates in a way that suits you

Content health check 

Get actionable insights to improve your content with a focused audit on a specific area of your content

Cost: from £500

Ideal for: charities who want to know how well their content is working and what needs to improve

What's included:

  • a deep dive into your content looking at readability, findability and usability

  • report with actionable findings written in plain language

  • prioritised and practical recommendations

  • 60-minute follow-up call to talk through findings

Ideal for: charities who are launching a new campaign, product or service and want to understand what's already out there or who want to refine legacy content

  • examples of similar or adjacent services and content that aren't direct brand competitors

  • a review of the current marketplace of similar and related products, services or content
